The Care & Cope project is here to care for the carers.
Project's mission is to support women who take on primary caregiving roles, offering:
Caregiving can deeply impact every aspect of life - from mental well-being to career and education. Many women step away from work or study to provide care, facing burnout and barriers when they try to return. Care & Cope aims to break this cycle by empowering women with the tools, confidence, and community they need to thrive.
While project's focus is on women aged 18–60+, we also welcome community workers and mental health professionals who support carers in their journeys.
This initiative is a collaboration between partners from Malta, Greece, and Cyprus, working together to promote care, resilience, and empowerment across communities.
The project is co-funded by the European Union.
Care & Cope Project aims to create a meaningful and lasting impact for women carers across Europe equipping women carers with practical self-care tools, resilience strategies, and effective methodologies to manage emotional fatigue, burnout, and the challenges of reintegration into work and society.
